Back in November 2020, Civil Construction Hire tasked us with building them a 2000mm wide rock bucket and a ripper to suit their brand new PC490. Most of our customers may know us for our mini-excavator range of attachments, but we also have the capabilities to build larger buckets and attachments to suit medium and heavy excavators.
Civil Construction Hire are an equipment rental business and have been loyal Hogan customers for over 7 years. Over their entire fleet of machines, we have supplied them over 250 buckets and attachments and continue to do so.
Being a local manufacturer means that we are able to make any changes necessary along the way to suit each customer’s needs, which is something Civil Construction Hire really value. We worked overtime to make sure that these attachments were ready for work and delivered on time. For instance, the ripper point took more than 40kg of welding wire and over 12 hours to secure!
And when the attachments were finally completed, we even drove for over 3 hours to deliver them to Queanbeyan. Committed to ensuring nothing went wrong, we decided to drive the bucket and ripper to Civil Construction Hire ourselves.
